The Women's Guild was started in 1966 with around 40 members attending the first meeting when Archdeacon Willoughby was our Rector. The ladies meet on the first Wednesday of each month from september to may where we aim to bring a speaker to give a talk or demonstration on a particular subject. The meeting usually lasts about ninety minutes.
We currently have around 33 members attending our monthly meetings.
The first meeting takes place in September and we finish with our AGM in April the following year.
So come along ladies and join up. It is only one night a month for a few hours. It's lovely to meet up, have a cup of tea and a chat. We would like to encourage more ladies to join up.
